The ancient theatre has flawless acoustics, and you will see people standing in the middle of the stage area, trying to talk to their friends and family in the stands. It is a beautiful spot to take photos and learn more about ancient Greece. It is part of a vast complex that includes a small museum, a sanctuary of Asclepius, the god of healing, and many ruins to walk around in.

The city is rich in history, with well-preserved examples of classical, medieval, and modern architecture, as well as numerous museums, monuments, and landmarks that reflect its rich cultural heritage. Nafplio is also known for its picturesque streets, charming squares, and beautiful beaches, making it a popular destination for those who appreciate natural beauty and a relaxed, seaside atmosphere. 

Honestly, I spent my time walking around the streets, mostly getting lost. There are many shops to wind your way through. And, of course, excellent tavernas to spend a leisurely meal. In my case, it was my first time trying rabbit, which was good. But I still try to recreate the appetizer, bouyiourdi, a baked feta, tomato, bell pepper, and onion dish, that I had there. It has become a comfort food for me!
